Where do you like to write?

I enjoy writing in my bedroom.

Is there anything you must have in order to write?

I must have peace and quiet, a purpose filled mind, a heart bursting with words; and of course, a pen and paper.

What books have influenced you most, both as a person and as an author?

Two books that have influenced me the most are:

Hinds’ Feet on High Places-Hannah Hurnard

Become a Better You-Joel Osteen

What is the one thing that has helped you develop most as an author?

Writing and releasing A Special Gift has helped my healing, as well as identified many fears that I needed to face.  I believe these two factors are developing me the most as an author.

What do you want to achieve most from your writing?

My heart’s desire is to connect with people and to let others know that they are not alone in their pain.

Is there something specific you do to improve your writing?

Yes, I journal and process information that I am learning, which is beneficial for the future writings.

What is the ideal relationship between editor and author?

The ideal relationship between an editor and an author consists of trust, honesty, communication, and connection.  Without these factors, I don’t believe that any relationship is healthy.

If you had a direct line to someone who loves your writing, what would you say?

Thank you for connecting at such a deep level!

If you had a direct line to someone who hates your writing, what would you say?

Thank you for your honesty.  Prayerfully, we’ll connect on a different path.

If you could give one piece of advice to an aspiring author, what would it be?

Find your purpose for writing and let the words flow from that place.

What does your writing future hold for you?

The title of the next book is North Winds Be Still

I believe that there is a non-fiction book inside of me as well.

I hope to write inspirational articles in a magazine.

How have you set about the task of creating enticing cover art?

I give a designer a description of my vision, and once it is produced, I know without a doubt that he/she put that vision in a beautiful cover.

How often do you read? What genre?

I read something inspirational every day.

Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions. Best of luck in the future.
